In a ceremony the night before his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame, Tom Brady took time to thank his teammates for their unwavering support.

The Patriots released a clip, as part of a longer video, that shows Brady giving those around him some love.

The snippet begins with owner Robert Kraft noting that the Patriots wanted to create something that was a great memory of the last 20 years.

“We needed people of strong intellectual background to describe it,” Kraft said. “So, I’d like to call upon Gronk and Julian.”

“Strong intellectual background,” Rob Gronkowski said in agreement.

Julian Edelman noted that the top of the ring is designed to reflect 20 years that Brady was a Patriot.

Brady then took the microphone and called the night an “intimate place” to show how much he loves his teammates.

“We’ve had so many great memories together, all of us,” Brady said. “You guys know me. I’m always emotional. Seeing you guys here makes everything so special. I hope this weekend is not for me, it’s for us.”

Brady said that camaraderie what made the experience of playing for the franchise so special.

He encouraged his teammates to have fun, and enjoy the festivities, while also reflecting on the journey they shared together.

“I love you all,” Brady said.
